About CIME
Creativity and Innovation in Micro Enterprises, the CIME project provides micro-enterprises across South-East Ireland access to leading-edge development and training programmes designed to encourage creativity and innovative thinking within their organisations.
The overall aim of CIME is to help micro - small, medium enterprises to think in a more creative and innovative way in order to survive in the current challenging economic climate. To help companies to become more efficient and effective in managing their business and explore new opportunities and new ways of doing business; respond to new technologies and trends as they emerge; and adapt to changing market conditions.
There is no cost to participating companies. This initiative is supported by the South-East Regional Authority, part funded by the EU Regional Development fund.
Innovation Networks
There are 5 Business Innovation Networks in the South-East region, each comprising of 15 companies across a broad range of sectors. These networks operate in Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford and Tipperary.
The project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Ireland Wales Programme (INTERREG 4A). It is a European funded venture developed by SERA (South-East Regional Authority, Ireland) in partnership with Swansea Metropolitan University, University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Kilkenny County Enterprise Board Ltd.
